Emberfall Saga
★★★★★ 4.6
Emberfall Saga is a proper role-playing game squeezed onto a phone without feeling squished. You build a party of four, pick classes, and work through a hand-drawn world map fighting turn-based battles. The writing is genuinely charming — characters remember things you did hours earlier.
Combat uses a tap-target system that works better than I expected. Menus are big, nothing is buried, and you can queue actions so battles move fast once you know your build. Grinding is optional; the difficulty curve is fair if you explore side areas.
Be warned it's a battery drinker — roughly eighteen percent an hour with brightness up. I'd play it plugged in for longer sessions. There's a solid auto-save so you never lose progress if you get pulled away.
