Casinacho

Casinacho is one of those games that looks simple in a screenshot and then quietly eats an afternoon. You tap groups of matching tiles to clear the board, chain combos, and unlock little themed scenes as you progress. The core loop is easy to explain but the timing on longer chains takes real practice.

What surprised me most was the pacing. It never nags you to hurry, and the levels are short enough to fit into a bus ride. The controls are pure single-thumb taps, which means you can genuinely play it one-handed while holding a coffee. On my test phone it barely warmed up, and battery drain was low — around eight percent an hour, which is gentle for something this animated.

The settings menu is small but thoughtful. You can turn off the background music separately from the effects, and there's a reduced-animation toggle that helps on older devices. My only gripe is that the tutorial overexplains the first few boards. Skip past it and the game shines.
